2006 Schedule of Projects.

Below is a listing of the projects we will be working on as a group in 2006.

2006 Schedule of Projects

Spring 2006: Garden Drive: we'll be sending seeds, garden tools, and summer craft supplies to the Main for the kids to use over the summer. Baby Drive: for our crafty gals who want to still make something this Spring, we'll be sending Baby items to the WIC and Healthy Start programs. I continue this all year long but, you may do it as you choose. Suggested items: Baby totes, sweater sets, blankets, hats and booties. Bibs, burp cloths, wash cloths, etc are also appreciated.

Summer: Back to school blitz. We'll send anything to the Main that can help the kids get ready to head back to school. School supplies, backpacks, sweaters, etc will all be great for this project.

Fall: Hats , Mittens, etc for the Main, Elder's program, WIC, and Healthy Start.

Winter: Blankets Blitz. Blankets for the above programs and for the Dorm program at Eagle Butte schools.

We will also be continuing our Monthly Drives . Ann collects for our "Dry Bottom's Fund". Marilyn collects for the "Paper Drive" and the "Elder's Blitz". For more information on sending checks , please contact them directly. The "Dry Bottom Fund" is a collection taken up to send diapers to the WIC and Healthy Start programs, "Paper Drive" is for sending notebook paper to the Main, and the "Elder's Blitz" is for sending toiletries to the Elders involved in the reservation Elderly Nutrition program.
